Gifts bring big smiles

As part of 67 minutes for Mandela day, the Infinity Health Medical Centre in the Kimberley CBD handed out over 80 hygiene packs to underprivileged individuals living on the street.

Each individual was given a kit containing basic hygiene items ranging from medicated soap, body lotion, oral hygiene kits and sanitary pads for females.

“Our aim is not only to improve the lives of each individual, but also to encourage adequate personal hygiene and a reduced incidence of illness,” said Dr Muhammad Abraham, dentist at Infinity Health Medical Centre.

Grateful recipients, children and adults alike, showed their appre­ciation by randomly posing for photos with staff members of the centre.

The happy faces was all that mattered to complete Mandela Day.
