Information needed

The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) in Galeshewe is appealing to the community to assist in tracing two men who are believed to be involved in a rape case in which a 14-year-old girl is the victim.

On Monday, 9 July, between 12:00 and 19:30, the victim was allegedly at the park when two unknown men approached her.

Sgt Majang Skalkie, police spokesperson, revealed that they had forced the victim to walk with them to a house in Tyala Street, Galeshewe, where they allegedly took turns to rape her.

One suspect is an African male aged between 15 and 20 years, who is of slender build and is dark in complexion. The other suspect is a African male aged between 12 and 15 years, who is of slender build and is dark in complexion.

Anyone who may have information about the incident, or who may know the location of these men, are asked to contact Sgt Bonolo Masao of the Galeshewe FCS on 084-613-5517. Alternatively, call the Crime Stop Line on 080-600-1011.
