The Sol Plaatje University’s (SPU) aerobics team was named as most promising after winning 29 medals at the University Sports South Africa’s (USSA) aerobics tournament.
The event was hosted at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Ga-Rankuwa campus in Gauteng from 3 to 6 July.
This was the SPU’s first time participating in the tournament.
Competing against 11 institutions, the team members gave it their all and gave an impressive performance.
They qualified for the tournament Category A,B,C and medals where they final in three categories and won numerous medals.
