Tournament boosts development

White City United Stars was among the local football clubs (u.12 to u.18) that participated in what was regarded as a successful two-day Diamond Foot­ballers Development Club tournament at Kimberley’s Phutanang sports ground.

Hosted on 21 and 22 July, the seven-a-side tournament was organised through partnership of the by Diamond Footballers Development Club (non-profit organisation), the Amasa Academy and Leedmo Sheq.

It is an annual tournament, hosted to boost soccer development in the Sol Plaatje Municipality.
