THERE was lots of joy and excitement as the pupils of Bhekizwe Primary learnt about the importance of Heritage Day and about each others cultures, identity, and their own roots.
They were further taught that Heritage Day recognises and encourages South Africans across the spectrum to celebrate their cultural heritage and different tradi- tions.
Different talents were shown by pupils and teachers who were dressed in traditional attire.
