From the ditch

EIGHT bowlers enjoyed a mildly sunny Saturday afternoon of play, while four played a selected pairs match.

Jack Drew and Erika Fischer proved too strong on the day and defeated Omo Dinkelman and Bryan Paul.

Preparations are under way for the Pleneggy Printers fun day on Sunday, August 5, which is the last winter tournament before the September spring rains.

Anyone can play — entry is R 60 per person including two games of 10 ends (by popular request) with tea and a South African lunch afterwards.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
