Greytown Country Club news

THE Mascor/NLC Monthly Mug was played on Saturday, August 4, and we had a good field of 20 golfers, even though the wind was blowing hard during the morning.

The winner of the mug and B div was Bigboy Ngonyama on 67 net. Second in B div was Tubby Larkan on 71 net. A div winner was Boy Zuma on 70 net and second was Oscar Ndawonde on 71 net.

Bigboy also won the jackpot and Sven Bruss had the only two club!

A big thank you to Mascor Greytown for sponsoring our Monthly Mug, which they have done for many years.

We remind our golf members of the ever popular Wembley Golf Day, which will take place on Saturday, September 1. There is still space in the afternoon field, which will be a 12.30 pm shotgun start.

DATES TO DIARISE

August 25 — Wembley Golf Day

September 6 — Ladies Open Golf Day
