EVEN the weather played fair — following gloomy forecasts of a cold weekend, Sunday’s was a perfect sunny day.
The hundreds and hundreds of people, from Umvoti and further afield, made their way enthusiastically to the activity in the Greytown Museum grounds.
This is billed as a community event and it certainly was. Charities, individuals and schools all benefitted from this annual get together. A wide range of items were on sale — craft knives, fairy gardens, bathing costumes, cheese and lots more — main sellers as always food, craft beer and gin.
The main negative from the visitors’ point of view was to find parking — which was positive for the organisers. Well done to the organisers and here’s to the 2019 fair.
