LAST week’s open day was the ideal opportunity for prospective parents and the families of our existing “Little Oaks” to attend our pre-school.
It was a busy morning, kicking off with an official welcome from Pastor René Risch, who also presented the unique features that make Hermannsburg so different from other schools — a school for scholars from 18 months to 18 years old, with the opportunity to learn German and classes small enough for every scholar to get the best possible attention and sup-port.
The Kindergarten buzzed with the excitement of prospective pupils and their parents participating in ring-time, sport, music and art activities.
There were displays of the pupils’ work throughout the Kindergarten to show all the other activities that take place during the year.
The Open Day ended with a fantastic little play called The Opposite, performed by all the Kindergarten teachers.
We thank our Kindergarten teachers, led by Mrs Uta Malzahn, for organising another successful Open Day.
