IT is that time of the year once again, when we see the fruits of our labour as another cohort of grade 12 pupils who have written their final examinations receive their results.
Pupils sat for the examinations in 2018 and, after a lot of effort from the staff as well as the pupils, the first matric class that was established at the beginning of 2018 made the school proud by achieving a 85.7% pass rate.
This placed the school in the number six position out of 24 schools in Umvoti.
The school achieved the following percentages:
• English (first additional language) — 100%
• isiZulu — 100%
• Accounting — 85.7%
• Business studies — 87.5%
• Economics — 100%
• Mathematics — 57.1%
• Life orientation — 100%
We thank all pupils who sat for their examinations and passed and wish them all the best for the future.
We remind the current grade 12 pupils that they have spent at least 12 years in the education system and that they owe it to themselves to put their all into these examinations. -Supplied.
