ON Saturday, October 27 the Greytown Junior U11 and U13 side traveled to Drakensview.
The U11 played a good game of cricket against Drakensview. The boys won on the last over, making 72 runs. The boys had fun and were well behaved.
The U13 boys won the toss and selected to field. A number of early wickets helped Greytown restrict Drakensview’s run rate.
Ruben Green took a total of five wickets, including a hat trick. Aphiwe Nzimakwe also took three wickets.
Drakensview was bowled out on the eighth over, making a total of 38 runs.
With the gained advantage, Greytown seized control and passed the required score in the fourth over, with the loss of no wickets, winning the game by 10 wickets. Well done to the side.

Greytown Junior played against Hermannsburg on Saturday, November 10.
Greytown Junior batted first and made 136 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Hermannsburg made a total of 95 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Ruben Green had an outstanding innings, making 76 runs in eight overs.
