Motivational radio presenter inspires at AGM

THE Kranskop Farmers Association hosted their annual general meeting on Friday, May 10.

The event started with formalities, where some of the members gave reports on certain divisions in the farming as well as the tourism sector that they represented over the past year. This was followed by an appearance by Damon Beard from East Coast Radio.

We were privileged to have him as our guest speaker for the evening. Damon is an unbelievable motivational speaker and shared how he overcame his fear of heights and flying by getting his pilot’s licence. He also spoke on how he became a presenter on radio and he also spoke about “The Big Favour.” This was followed by a delicious supper provided by St Cathryn’s Golf Estate.

The evening was well attended. Everybody left in high spirits.
