LAST week the NHP Grade 5 class went on an outing to Drakensville.
The outing started with a visit to Eskom where the children had an informative talk on electricity generation and safety.
During the three days the class tackled challenges such as ziplining, absailing and a nine-kilometre mountain hike. They also revised various topics covered during the year in biology, history, science and geography.
The outing was an opportunity for the children to see how what they have learnt in class is applied and relevant in real life.
