GREYTOWN High School teams travelled to Ladysmith to take part in hockey matches on Saturday, May 18.
The first team hockey girls played in a very tough but evenly-matched game, and after Ladysmith scored the first goal, Greytown managed to score twice with Bandile Masikane and Rachel Magwaza finding the back of the net. The first team girls won 2–1.
The U14 hockey girls had their work cut out for them. They were one player down for the majority of their match and, despite their best efforts, lost 3–0.
Greytown High School would like to congratulate Sphesihle Khubeka on her selection for the U16B KZN Inland Team, touring to Potchefstroom for the Regional Hockey Festival from June 23 to June 27.
