Rabies in Greytown

THIS is to inform Greytown residents that a pet dog from Greytown has tested positive for rabies.

A stray dog has also tested positive for rabies in the Ahrens area.

Even if your dog is in an enclosed yard it can contract rabies by fighting with an infected animal through a fence.

Greytown residents are once again urged to ensure that their dogs are up to date with their vaccinations.

Stray dogs and cats should not be handled by members of the public.

Umvoti Animal Hospital will run another vaccination clinic on Monday, May 27 from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information contact Dr JL Wessels at 033 417 2073.
