Reduce, reuse, recycle urges Daisy Duck

MRS Saskia Gevers, a Wembley JP teacher, has been very industrious and reinvented her Wembley Duck mascot, which she created last year for the 20 year celebrations.

The Wembley Duck has been transformed into Daisy Duck — The Recycling Duck — made almost entirely from recycled material.

Daisy is promoting the importance of recycling plastic.

Wembley College is collecting no. 2 plastic bottles, which are delivered to Envirotimbers in Howick. This HDPE plastic collection is going to eventually become a new school bench.
