WHAT a bad experience at the Greytown Licensing office.
Don’t the cleaners clean before 8 am because at 9 am, as I walked into the double-story building, I was shouted at while waiting.
The lady working at the licensing office went back to the main office and came back to take the final photos.
The lady in charge was not in her office — that was at about 9.10 am — [she was] sitting opposite with her colleague and watching something in Zulu.
The rude lady who was supposed to be at her office screams: “Wait, I am coming when I am finished.” So, I told her: “Okay no problem”. After a few minutes she screams again; “Did I not tell you wait I am coming?”
So I told her: “Yes, we are waiting,” and even her colleague told her something. So, after a few seconds, that lady walks towards us and helps us but she can barely talk (she was under the influence of alcohol). She definitely had a very heavy weekend and was in no mood to work.
People with that [kind of attitude] should not be working.
One thing they need to know is that we as rate payers are paying their salaries at the end of every month.
There is no service delivery in this office.
