ST. David's and the Little Elephant Diocesan School were represented at a recent meeting of the Anglican Board of Education for Southern Africa(ABESA), held at St. Mary's Diocesan in Kloof.
The topic for discussion was building inclusive, welcoming school communities in which individuals care for each other.
The Anglican Church has a long history of providing quality, accessible education with a Christian ethos in Southern Africa.
ABESA was established in order to strengthen existing Anglican Schools, to encourage the creation of new Anglican schools in each of the 28 dioceses, and to encourage parishes in the ongoing upliftment of their communities through education and partnership with local schools.
