St David’s doings

ST David’s pupils celebrated the arrival of spring by wearing civvies in spring colours and contributing to buy nutritious food for the LETCEE project in the small community of Upper Thulini.

Fifty schoolchildren, as well as pre-schoolers, are given breakfast before school and a light lunch after school.

Their parents work in the plantations and leave for work very early in the morning so there is no one at home to look after them.

The food was handed over to Ms Musa Booysen, the community development officer, and Dr Mary James, director of LETCEE, by three of our prefects.
