ADVERTORIAL

NOW in its 3rd year, 100% Phola Picnic returns on Saturday, September 1 at Inanda Dam and Resort.

Central to this coming event is the celebration of Spring Day (September 1), Heritage and Tourism month. The rural setting of the 1000 Hills is of paramount importance in highlighting the overall current strategy by Durban Tourism in that Durban has more.

As event directors of 100% Phola Picnic, we could not agree more with this statement, as to those visit our city, Durban has more than just the beach, stadium, shaka marine, Mhlanga, etc. The Valley of the 1000 hills offers a unique visitor experience for the whole family.

Venues like Inanda Dam Resort, as well as 1000 Thrills (Isithumba ), Makaranga, Phezulu Safari, etc are easily within reach great outdoor lifestyle experiences. They offer great opportunity to interact with nature, accommodation and much much more.

September being both heritage and tourism month, 100 Phola Picnic offers a unique platform to promote the local heritage, which is vastly the Zulu Culture as well others that prevalent in the area. The tourism aspect comes in the form of the great deal of promotion that the event receives which aims to drive both local and domestic tourist to visit 1000 Hills and more specifically Inanda Dam & Resort to experience 100% Phola Picnic.

Entertainment for the event will not just be limited to what the venue can offer, which is fishing, canoeing, hiking trails, camping, braai area, jungle gym, but we will also have an entertainment stage where top local and household name artists and djs will perform. A full artist line-up will be announced in a media briefing in July 2018.
