GOGO “Queen Elizabeth” Dlamini’s dedication to the children at Esibusisweni Crèche and Orphanage is inspirational as she showers every child at the NPO with love and care.
Bianca Ivankovic, a volunteer there, said she is inspired by Dlamini’s philanthropy and wants to give back to her and her husband who have opened their home and hearts to many.
“She has lived an incredibly tough life, yet she is an endless ray of hope and sunshine for so many, including myself,” said Ivankovic.
“To thank her for her dedication to the children and the community we have put together some ideas for a surprise mini-retreat for her and her husband, which we would love to see come together with the help of the community.”
She wants to treat gogo and her husband Patrick to a lunch, then a massage and beauty treatment for both.
“We would love them to experience a game drive at PheZulu or a similar fun activity, and then dinner and a night at a B&B, or hotel or lodge and breakfast the next morning.
“Afterwards they go shopping for clothes as gogo and Patrick can’t afford to shop for themselves because their wardrobe consists of donated items.
“I would also love gogo to get herself a new and well-fitted bra.”
Ivankovic would like this treat to take place at the end of the month. Anyone willing to assist can contact her 073 290 9816 or email cornucopiakitchen@gmail.com
