Khanyisela opens in Jeffreys Bay

A whole new world of possibilities has opened for prospective local students as a top private college opened its doors in Jeffreys Bay - offering affordable short-term courses.

Khanyisela College opened their first branch outside of their head office in Port Elizabeth at Potters Place in Jeffreys Bay last week Wednesday.

“It is an exciting day in the life of the college,” says Khanyisela College Managing Director and former school teacher Tanya Kisten, who started the college in 2008 with business partner and former school teacher Roger Peters. “We are very excited to make a positive and lasting impact on the local community, especially the unemployed youth - our core focus area.

“The college offers skills development for individuals and businesses who want to uplift their employees.”

According to Kisten, whose heart is with the community, the college has a wide variety of partnerships with their established clients in the business sector. “This allows us to bring skills development to the unemployed youth, and give them a fighting chance to find employment.

“We want to make sure that the people around us are gainfully employed and motivated to do their best at work.”

  • Programmes offered at Khanyisela College include Leadership Development, Business Administration, Real Estate, Specialist Security Practices, Specialist Cleaning Services, Mentoring, and post-matric certificate and diploma in Education, Training and Development.
