TOP talent from Humansdorp will hit television screens on Sunday, September 16 at 16:00, on SABC2 as part of Showville SA.
“Twelve South African towns, six weeks, and tons of talent. That is what it took to complete the first leg of shooting for the second season of SABC’s hit variety show, ShowvilleSA,” says ShowvilleSA Director Geoffrey Butler.
“Judging by the acts that we have disco- vered, this season promises to be a must-see when it hits your television screens.”
Butler says, “When you’re travelling to towns like Mossel Bay, Queenstown and Humansdorp, you think you have an idea of what to expect,” says Butler. “But nothing prepared us for the beautiful stories, the level of talent, and the wonderful hospitality we encountered.
“We were overwhelmed by the wide variety of acts that showed up to compete this time around. From dancers and drag queens to comedian jugglers and rapping gymnasts, there was no shortage of talent wanting to show what they’ve got and take home the grand prize of R10 000 available for each town.
“’With each hopeful contestant came unforgettable stories of passion, community, family and a determination to succeed.”
