FALLEN Angels Bird Sanctuary and Rescue facility is urgently appealing to the public to fund their rescue of a number of protected birds which they have come into contact with recently.
Founder of the bird sanctuary D.E Davis said of the rescue: “At this stage details are fairly classified but will be revealed as soon as our target of R15 000 is reached. This [amount] includes necessary permits, transport and vet assessments,” said Davis.
“We are begging for assistance and are more than happy to make toys to the value of the donations we receive for those wanting something back,” said Davis.
The facility, which accepts abused, unwanted and abandoned birds, is subsidized by the making and selling of original non-toxic life enrichment toys for birds, rabbits, chinchillas, monkeys and other such pets.
Davis welcomed any corporate sponsors and promised that adequate and valuable exposure for corporates donating will be undertaken for assistance with the rescue operation.
