PIETERMARITZBURG SAPS together with Community Policing Forum, Department of Correctional Services, and the Msunduzi Municipality (Waste Department), celebrated their 67 minutes on Mandela Day by cleaning the streets of Pietermaritzburg from the corners of Pine and Church Street down to Chief Albert Luthuli Street. Pietermaritzburg Police Station spokesperson Captain Khosi Khonjelwayo said: “We saw the need to keep our beautiful city clean, we also wanted to show the community the importance of keeping our city clean.” —Supplied.
