Gospel concert a first for PMB

THE Planetshakers gospel concert rocked Pietermaritzburg at the Royal Showgrounds last Wednesday.

Converge, a city-wide youth movement, hosted internationally renowned artists Planetshakers, performing as part of the international leg of their Legacy Tour, and Dr.Tumi in an exhilarating night of worship.

The event made history, being the first of its kind for Pietermaritzburg, attracting over 4 000 people to enjoy a night of praise and worship which was led by the Planetshakers and Dr.Tumi and which presented breath-taking visual, lighting and production sets.

The event ended with a powerful noteworthy moment where Pastor Andy Harrison, from Planetshakers, and Dr. Tumi prayed for South Africa, which is truly significant as the event took place on Mandela Day. This symbolised unity among races, and a new beginning for our city. — Supplied.
