Hot, spicy comedy in PMB

SINCE making his stage debut 10 years ago, the enigmatic and charismatic Karou Charou has, via his numerous sold out shows across the country, amassed a huge fan base both nationally and internationally and is, by all accounts, one of the most commercially successful comics on the SA circuit.

This success and popularity was recognised by the international brand of McDonald’s, who handpicked him as the face of their Hot & Spicy burger campaign which included two TV ads, street Billboards and cinema ads.

The show will see the “turbaned one” perform some of his best material from his various shows over the past 10 years. Among other things, he will reveal why most Indians can’t swim; why Indians choose not to play rugby and how Indians put the “Fun” in funerals. He will explore Indian weddings and aim to explain why marriage “is just not normal.”

With this being a family show, Karou has an entire segment where he invites kids on stage to have fun. Then there is the finale segment, which can only be described as a “hoe down”.

Music, song comedy and dance... It’s a roller coaster of laughs for the whole family.

Catch Karou Charou LIVE at the Golden Horse Casino in Pietermaritzburg on Friday, March 29 at 8pm.

Very Early Bird Tickets are R100 until Sunday, March 17 and thereafter R120 until Sunday, March 24. Following that, tickets are R150 on the week of the show. Tickets are available at Computicket and Goldenhorse. Enquiries to info@boxofficesa.com
