Men’s seminar at city hall

NYATHIKAZI Events invites all men to a seminar that will take place for the first time in the City of Choice at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall on October 5 from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

The slogan for this seminar is “Inkunzi Isematholeni, Unleashing The Potential Of Young Men” and there is no cover charge.

The event is aimed at grooming and teaching young boys and the youth how to conduct themselves and how to treat others, especially women.

Nkululeko Nyathi of Nyathi Events told Echo that they saw a gap between the younger and older generations of men.

He said, as an organisation, they feel that men are being neglected and not encouraged on how to conduct themselves as much as women do.

“All the conferences and seminars that take place are about women. What about men? They also need to be taught and guided as they grow up and those who are older need to be taught how to be responsible and do better in life.
“We want to accommodate everyone especially people from rural areas so that they get tips on how they can change their lives for the better even if they are in rural areas.

“We want to groom men. We want them to reach their goals,” he said.

Nyathi said they will also have former soccer star Mbulelo Mabizela who will share his life story and encourage men to follow their dreams and never misuse opportunities when they get them.

Pastor Sthembiso Zondo will also be the speaker and will give a motivational talk.
