Mills Spar celebrates store of the year

MILLS SuperSpar, after first featuring on the Pietermaritzburg map just five years ago, has reaped the benefits of serving the community tirelessly and effortlessly as they recently secured the KwaZulu-Natal SuperSpar of the Year award.

Run under the tutelage of experienced general manager Ravi Moodley, the store was set out with the goal of making Mills SuperSpar the number one grocery shopping destination offering the highest quality and convenience; not just in Pietermaritzburg but in KwaZulu Natal; and it has succeeded.

It is through the help of their dedicated staff, who work around the clock to ensure that customers are completely satisfied, that Mills SuperSpar has been able to secure the coveted store of the year award.

“Mills SuperSpar offers shoppers a destination where they can go to and be at peace while browsing through our wide range of quality goods and assortments.

“Customers can expect to be greeted by friendly staff who are on hand at all times to offer assistance with anything store related.

“Our store serves not only as a place where one shops but as a spot where you can pleasantly bump into a familiar face and sit down and catch up over a cup of coffee at our Bean Tree Café. That’s the magic of this place,” said Moodley.

From a delicious assortment of freshly baked breads; delicious tarts and decadent cakes, fresh produce of veggies and fruits directly from the farms of your local farmers, and A-grade cuts of meat ready for the stove or braai — it is not hard to see just why this store has become an award winning venue where customers can come to purchase top quality goods.

“We strive to use the tools we have at our disposal to ensure that our customers come in and leave with smiles on their faces.

“The mix of friendly faces in the form of our staff, as well as having the latest in technology, makes our goal of being the number one shopping destination of choice a certainty,” said Moodley.

Mills SuperSpar is also an avid contributor to the community, having established connections with various schools, charities and churches and helping these organisations improve and grow through their support.

“We not only try to service our customers but also those around us so that we can benefit the community as a whole,” said Moodley.

Moodley thanked the owners, the Christodoulou family, as well as the community for their sup-port.

“I would also like to thank our loyal management team and staff for making this award possible and ensuring that our store is the best in KZN,” ended Moodley.
