Woman of Worth Breakfast

CARTER High School hosted the Woman of Worth Breakfast for over 200 women on National Women’s Day, August 9.

They braved the cold weather, arrived in their lovely headdresses and enjoyed a jam-packed programme of entertainment, inspiring speeches by three phenomenal women, amazing lucky draw prizes from generous sponsors and exhibitors, and a delicious buffet breakfast.

Travel Finesse sponsored the fabulous grand prize, which was a package of two flights sponsored by SA Airlink and three days’ car hire sponsored by Auto Europe.

Thandi House was the chosen NGO supported by the event.

A cash donation and items were donated to Thandi House.

Visit the school’s Facebook page to read a synopsis of each presenter and to view the photos. The photos tell the story of the marvellous time enjoyed at Carter High School.
