Women in the lead at pharmacy

BRAID Street Express Pharmacy, under the ownership of dynamic young mother and registered nurse Liane Moodley and partner, specialises in the compounding of various dermatological preparations in collaboration with dermatologists in and around Kwa- Zulu Natal.

“I believe strongly in empowering the youth and women in particular, especially in light of the high unemployment rate in our country,” said Moodley.

As such, in the near future, the pharmacy will endeavour to offer training to individuals who want to become pharmacy assistants.

“My advise to anyone wanting to start their own business is to persevere and never be discouraged.

“Write down your ideas, plans and then make these a reality as you never know were the path may lead you if you don’t venture down it,” she said. — Supplied.
