AFTER the success of his debut one-man show, King of Swing, Boeta B is back with his follow-up show called South End Swing.
Described as one of the funniest and wittiest acts in Port Elizabeth, Boeta B, whose real is name is Kurt Terblanche, will be covering songs by the greats such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Michael Buble.
“With stories romanticising the heyday South End, it was only fitting to stay with the theme, and stage the show at the South End Museum,” said event organiser André Mackay.
“This show sees Boeta B using his comedic savvy to narrate and act out stories the audience can relate to, before blowing them away with his take on classics like, Unforgettable, Fly Me To The Moon and the showstopper Save The Last Dance,” Mackay said.
South End Swing will run for three days at the South End Museum on the following dates: August 9: show starts at 16:00, August 10 and 11: show starts at 19:00.
Tickets are R100 and available from André at 083 357 1960, Stylz Barber on 071 017 4819 or online at www.bigonmultimedia.co.za.
