Corporate teams called on for iconic race

GROWING up we were always told that we should enjoy our youth because once we enter the working world, the time for games is over.

Fortunately, we believe in the term “work hard and play even harder”.

Have fun and reduce your carbon footprint with your colleagues during the Medihelp Train Race on August 19 at the Port Elizabeth Railway Station from 09:00 and ending at the Uitenhage Station.

Make your mark among the community by working as a team and gaining great brand exposure at the same time.

If you’re seeking an unbelievable experience for you and your valued employees, then look no further. Simply huddle together and enter the affordable corporate section or sponsor teams of the race against “The Machine”.

For just R700 per team, everyone will have the opportunity to showcase their physical and communication skills. Talk about the ideal team-building “ENTER-cise”.

To be part of this thrilling adventure, your group should consist of five runners and one mountain bike cyclist.

Stand a chance to win the grand floating trophy and, of course, the boasting rights of the winning corporate team!

And if that’s not enough, medals and race T-shirts will be handed out to the fantastic entrants and finishers. After the great challenge, make your way over to the Uitenhage Station Festival where you and your team can quench your thirst with flavourful beverages and mouth-watering dishes from food vendors.

Relax and be entertained by various performances from legendary Bay musicians Claire Venn and Sherid van Rooyen while being mystified by top South African mentalist Brendon Peel. Make sure you stay until 13:00 to receive your well-earned rewards at the prize-giving.

Visit www.trainrace.co.za to secure your company entries or to purchase tickets to be a spectator on the train.
