Sasol Ladies’ League teams drop valuable points

FANS saw some of their favourite teams losing valuable points during the Sasol Ladies’ League games in various regions of the Eastern Cape on Saturday.

The Nelson Mandela Bay side, City Ladies, took Eluhewini Ladies to the cleaners when they thrashed them 12-0 at New Brighton in Port Elizabeth.

Birmingham City secured a comfortable 2-0 home win over Executive Ladies in East London, while Bashee Eagles supporters were let down by their side when they lost a home game 2-1 to Port Elizabeth side Golden Stars in Mbashe. Sophakama Ladies salvaged a hard-earned 2-1 home win when they locked horns with Ayakha Stars in Zwide.

Cumakala Ladies handed Eastern Rangers Ladies a well-deserved 2-0 defeat in Stutterheim.

Amanqilo Birds looked as though they could not fly when they went down 3-1 to Red Roses.
