It is the height of stupidity to decriminalise any addiction in a nation that has one of the highest crime rates on earth. Already many of our crimes are addiction related, yet those in “authority” deem it suitable to embolden and inspire more addiction. Many car crashes are linked to intoxicants.
In the Holy Quran there is a verse that declares that “from amongst your wife’s and children you will find devout enemies”.
This remains a clear warning that an enemy can masquerade as anyone, even someone that you assume you can trust. In our situation it is evident that the enemies of our family and social stability are in our highest courts and within our parliament. Our enemies are amid those who claim to “serve and protect” our interests and then do the opposite and endanger our families.
Decriminalising dagga may sound like a joke to many, however, when speaking to families of addicts the narrative is a tale of relentless despair and fear. Did we learn nothing from the story of Ellen Pakkies, who murdered her own drug addicted son? Drug addicts do not add value to their families or society. They are a cancer upon the safety of society. So why decriminalise and inspire addiction?
Recently we also had our local education department who wanted to sell alcohol at schools. There is an obvious but disguised agenda to guarantee that society remains broken and unable to heal itself.
For centuries our ancestors endured slavery, colonialism and then Apartheid. The idea is simple, enslaving many people to serve the needs of a few. For centuries this abuse was forced upon people.
Addiction is the same. The criminal addict serves the interest of a few that seek to inspire chaos. Under the sick guise of “freedom” do evil folk seek to reduce another generation into a new slavery.
Study the people that support this decriminalisation and ask yourself what benefit these people add to the stability and security of society. Whose interest does decriminalising dagga really serve?
