Stand together to stop levies

I do agree with the previous writers, this levy issue is a disgrace and exploitation of tax payers. Rates and tax are already applied to the valuation of the properties. What makes it right to apply levies to one’s property based on valuation when you are already being taxed? Electricity, another sore point: We are taken for a ride, what a disgrace. As much as 70% of your electricity purchase is used to subsidise the less privileged communities who own cars and pay the same price for fuel, who own a spaza shop on his or her property which generates an income.

This is unacceptable, we must stand together to stop these unnecessary levies.
