Primary hosts fun walk

PORT Shepstone Junior Primary School will host their annual family fun walk, on September 1 from 8 am to 1 pm.

The event promises to be exciting, with a entertainment to suit the entire family.

“We usually have about 1 600 parents, family members, friends and students taking part. The walk is approximately four kilometres long around Port Shepstone — there will be 24 marshals (school staff) posted all along the route as well as the traffic department so it is very safe. There is a raffle draw . The first prize is a tablet sponsored by Lucky’s, second prize is a bicycle sponsored by Bobby’s Cycles and third prize is a stationery hamper.

There are lots of other prizes being raffled throughout the morning from book vouchers to meal vouchers and toys. All are welcome to join,” said school secretary Tish Sprienger.

Part of the entertainment includes food stalls, jumping castles, face painting, dancers and an entire entertainment programme. There will be a ticket station, where you may purchase fun walk tickets from R15 on the day of the fun walk.
