Sheppie police bid farewell to treasured employee
THE Port Shepstone Auxiliary Garage (SAPS) bid farewell to one of their most treasured employees, JC Visser (Hanlie). After speaking to some of her colleagues, many drew inspiration from her story. Visser began her journey with the Port Shepstone Auxillary Garage in 1991 where she was employed as a data typist; by 1998 she worked her way up to the highest position in her department as chief admin clerk. “Hanlie has an adventurous nature, she’s hardworking, helpful and befriended many of her colleagues. Many of us are emotional dreading her departure but we wish her the best and are honoured to have had the chance to work with her,” said Juliette Pillay.
Her 28 years of excellence service leaves many in awe of her. Visser officially retires at the end of the month and will be relocating to Cape Town. “We wish her the best in all of her future endeavours,” said the team at Port Shepstone Auxiliary Garage.
