Storytelling contest success

BREAKTHROUGH Centre hosted its Youth Month Inter-School Storytelling contest recently.

The judging panel was impressed with the high standard set by pupils, this reflected in their thorough planning and preparation for their outstanding presentations.

Mike Pitso, Head of Intergovernmental Relations at KwaDukuza Municipality, commended Breakthrough Centre for their efforts in creating avenues for the breeding of future leaders and nation builders.

He praised pupils for their excellent performance and commented on the challenging task that the judges had due to the high standard of their presentations.

Trevor and Jessica Nair, founders of Breakthrough Centre, expressed their delight in seeing the partnership and co-operation among local schools.

“We are hoping to see more pupils come to the fore in realising their talents and potential. As leaders, we have the awesome responsibility of breeding a new generation of leaders, who will carry the capacity to do the impossible and change the future and destiny of this nation.”
