Du-Laine joins Tavcor Volkswagen

Du-Laine Myburgh is a name synonymous with the Volkswagen brand. He recently has taken the next step in his career to even better service delivery by joining the Tavcor Volkswagen Family in Port Elizabeth.

As an international sales executive, Du-Laine is now part of one of the first VW dealerships in South Africa, which boasts the largest market share in Port Elizabeth and George for the past 25 years.

Du-Laine previously was with Market Square Volkswagen in Uitenhage.

“I am just a stone’s throw away from my existing customers. Being part of a motor group that was established during 1948 and which is still the preferred choice when it comes to purchasing a Volkswagen makes me proud,” said Du-Laine.

During 1998 he commenced his career in the motoring industry as an employee at the Volkswagen of South Africa manufacturing plant in Uitenhage. By 2006 Du-Laine made a career change, joining the Volkswagen retail market. It soon was evident that he has the flair to contribute in growing the Volkswagen Family when it comes to sales.

“With more than 120 demo models, 160 new vehicles in stock and more than 107 used vehicles on the floor, we at Tavcor offer our customers benchmark sales and excellent service experience,” said Du-Laine.

Tavcor Volkswagen is situated in William Moffett Expressway and has been positioned as the premium VW dealership in the Nelson Mandela Metropole. When built in 2012, it was the largest of the new Lighthouse CI Volkswagen dealerships on the African continent.

This motor group has its own style, the Tavcor way, with collaborative and interactive management style they invest in people, premises and great systems.

Tavcor Volkswagen is one of four dealerships in Port Elizabeth that belong to the Tavcor Motor Group, who also owns a multi franchise VW/VW Commercial/Audi/Carpointe dealership in George.
