CHILDREN who survive cancer are often left with debilitating effects that can impact their physical development and ability to learn.
That’s why Lions Clubs International (LCI) is answering the call to expand access to life-saving treatment and the ladies of the Uitenhage Lions Club registered with Cupcakes 4 saving kids with cancer with their Party of Hope.
The Uitenhage Lions Club will be hosting a Party of Hope at the Despatch SUPERSPAR on September 8th commencing at 08:00.
To host a Party of Hope involves all those in the community who can make a difference in someone’s life.
“If you love baking we are asking you please to bake 24 cup cakes and donate them to the Party of Hope.
The cupcakes will be sold to the public for a R10 donation,” said Denis Murphy from the Uitenhage Lions Club.
Sandy Cipriano of Cupcakes for Hope refers to all that support with the baking of cupcakes as their Cupcake Angels that are those who show much love and passion which is the sweetest way to save a life.
