ALL year, the OK Franchise Division judging team has been actively assessing its OK MiniMark convenience outlets across South Africa, Namibia and Swaziland in a bid to find a deserving recipient for its Franchisee of the Year award.
The OK Franchise Division conducts their Franchisee of the Year campaign annually as part of their commitment to continually improve and grow the OK Minimark brand which currently comprises 95 individually owned stores.
Only one OK MiniMark store from a distinguished group of finalists is awarded the title annually.
This year, Uitenhage’s local OK Minimark in Cuyler Street was named the Franchisee of the Year!
Owners Kenneth and Dorné Botha were “humbled, excited and thrilled” to learn that their OK MiniMark had been nominated. The Bothas have been in retail for over 2 decades, but Kenneth reports that since joining the OK group their store, which is open 24-hours a day, has enjoyed 75% growth!
Kenneth and Dorné have been invited to attend this year’s OK Franchise Division conference in Lisbon, Portugal. At a gala dinner during the conference the winning OK MiniMark was announced and the prestige award came to Uitenhage with the Bothas!
