Four people have died after a water tanker crashed on an Inanda highway, Kwazulu-Natal paramedics said on Sunday.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a heavy motor vehicle lost control,” said Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst.
“The adult occupants of the truck, two males and two females, were trapped in the wreckage and Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services had to use the Jaws of Life to free them.”
On assessment, the four were declared dead on the scene.
“All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.”
