Brothers arrested for murder

Johannesburg - Two brothers have been arrested for the murder of a 25-year-old man at the Mputi Village in Dutywa, Eastern Cape police said.

Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said there was an argument between the man and the brothers aged 21 and 22 on Friday night.

"The deceased was stabbed to death... at about 20:00," he said.

"The deceased is said to have sustained an open wound on his upper body. [He]... cannot be named until his next of kin are informed of his death."

The motive of the fight was not known.

The brothers were expected to appear in the Dutywa Magistrate's Court soon on charges of murder.
