Johannesburg - Eastern Cape police were on Wednesday searching for two men accused of murder in Zwide, Port Elizabeth.

The men allegedly broke into a house in Matika Street on Monday night and shot dead 38-year-old Siyabulela Kuse, said Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu.

"About eight shots were fired at the upper body of the victim and he died on the scene."

Police found eight empty cartridges and two projectiles on the scene.

Gwavu said the motive for the killing was not known.

"Police are still looking for the suspects."
