Mbombela - A case against two Mpumalanga men accused of terrorising farmers around Malelane has been transferred to the Nelspruit circuit of the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
The accused, Siyabonga Masilela and Ndumiso Mahlalela, appeared in the Tonga Magistrate's Court on Friday.
They have both pleaded not guilty to nine charges, a Sapa correspondent reported.
Magistrate Sibonisiwe Sibuyi told the court that the senior prosecutor had made arrangements for the case to be transferred to the High Court for trial.
The court previously denied the two men bail when the investigating officer testified that they posed a danger to the public.
Their charges include murder, housebreaking, theft, robbery with aggravating circumstances and possession of ammunition.
Masilela was arrested on 13 February and Mahlalela a month later.
The case would be heard in the high court on 26 September.
