The City of Johannesburg's revenue customer service centres will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2018, as well as January 1 and 5, 2019.
"This will affect all customer service centres, as well as the call centre, which will be able to receive calls but not action service requests.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused," member of the mayoral committee (MMC) for finance councillor Funzela Ngobeni, said in a statement on Friday.

From January 2018, the Thuso House Customer Service Centre in Braamfontein will continue its extended operating hours - 07:30 to 18:00 on weekdays and 07:30 to 12:30 on Saturdays.
The City also urged residents who wished to pay off accounts to avoid credit control action, to do so via third parties or EFT.
Some of the methods available include:
• via Easy Pay at many, including Pick n Pay and Shoprite Checkers;
• via debit orders;
• through direct deposits at major banks;
• at ATMs;
• via internet and cellphone banking; and
• at the SA Post Office.
"Paying your account timeously contributes to uninterrupted and smooth service delivery to all the residents of the City. Customers that have queries can log them with Joburg Connect at 0860 Joburg (562 874)," Ngobeni said.
General service delivery utilities, including Joburg Water and City Power, will not be affected by the closure.
