Friday's weather: Light rain along the coastline

Light rain is expected along the South Coast of the Western and Eastern Cape as well as KwaZulu-Natal on Friday.

It will be warm across the northern half of the country, as provided by the South African Weather Service.

Mpumalanga will be fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

It will be fine and warm in Limpopo.

The North West will be fine and cool to warm.

It will be fine and cool in the Free State.

It will be fine and cool, becoming cloudy and foggy in the Northern Cape. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh.

Morning fog is expected in places along the West Coast of the Western Cape. Otherwise, it will be cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with morning rain over the Cape Peninsula and along the South Coast and adjacent interior. It will become fine in the west and in places over the Karoo from the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh. The expected UVB sunburn index will be low.

The Eastern Cape will be fine and cool, but cloudy in the south. Otherwise, it will be cool to cold in places. Light rain and showers are expected along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh.

It will be fine and cool but warm in the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. It will become cloudy to partly cloudy in the east. Rain and isolated showers are expected along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be moderate.
