Johannesburg – The SPCA in Ivory Park, Midrand, has been robbed of cash, laptops and an oven, Gauteng police said on Monday.
Four men got into the premises on Sunday evening by claiming to be seeking help for an injured animal, Captain Bernard Matimulane said.
An employee was held at gunpoint and tied up when he went to see what the four had in their white car. They fled with two cellphones, an undisclosed amount of cash, two laptops, and an oven.
The man’s colleague found him and called police. No arrests had been made and nobody was hurt.
