Thursday's weather: Another warm day ahead

A dry and warm day is expected on Thursday, while places in the north-east and along the coast will be cooler.

Temperatures along the coast will be cool to warm, according to the South African Weather Service.

The weather in your region

It will be fine and warm in Gauteng. The expected UVB sunburn index will be high.

Mpumalanga and Limpopo will be cloudy in the east with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.

It will be fine and warm in the North West.

The Free State will be fine and warm but cool in the east.

The Northern Cape will be fine and cool to warm but hot along the coastal regions. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh.

Morning fog is expected in places over the south-western and southern parts of the Western Cape. Otherwise, it will be fine and cool to warm. It will become cloudy in places along the south coast from the evening. The wind along the coast will be light. The expected UVB sunburn index will be moderate.

The Eastern Cape will be cloudy with fog and mist south of the escarpment in the morning. Otherwise, it will be fine and warm but cool along the coast and in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate.

Morning fog is expected over the western interior of KwaZulu-Natal. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and cool but warm in places in the east. It will become fine in the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate. The expected UVB sunburn index will be moderate.
